An unlikely name for a café, the ‘Hospital shop’ has been transformed into a charming home-style café/deli. You can just as easily drop in for a great (organic fairtrade) espresso, frappe, or milkshake as you can for supplies of fresh local organic produce. This café/restaurant/food store is open for breakfast and lunch seven days. A regularly changing menu makes the most of seasonal availability. DOGS AND KIDS VERY WELCOME.

Originally established in 1948 The Hospital Shop is still standing, and proud of it! Now refurbished & renovated with passion this café is raring to go. The extensive history & changes to the building can be found on the walls of the café.
